Does anyone know the Cal Owners Groups that used to be a private email message board back 3 years ago. They were so active they put together a deal that Mr. Lapworth to provide the orginial Cal Blue Prints for specific models then he autographed each one. Sadly I understand Mr. Lapworth had passed away. Yet this group had dibs on a lot of orginial Cal parts,brouchures and suppliers. Even though I have a Hunt Designed Cal It was very very active.........

Cal email list on yahoo
There used to be an Cal-specific email list provided by Sailnet (as well as for other boat-specific brands). When Sailnet went under last year, most of the members moved to a yahoo group: Cal_Boats@yahoogroups.com. You should be able to find a lot of parts/supplier information by posting there.

Is on Yahoo....great group of Cal owners. Can give advise on everything dealing with Cals. One of the guys was a personal friend and former employee of Bill Lapworth....that is where the connection for the signed plans came from. Unfortunately for some people (me being one), Mr. lapworth got sick before he finished...... Anyway, the list is very active and informative. Good luck!
