Thanksgiving to all. I recently started looking at a cal 29 it's a 1976. My problem is that this boat has four identical Port lights on each side of the cabin all pictures I have seen of similar boats do not have these kind of Port lights maybe someone here could clear this up for me. Thanks in advance

Images I have seen show 4 windows common and two smaller forward. Perhaps an owner alteration.

Yes thank you yeah this phone has four identical Port lights on each side all I can guess is that somebody took the rear cabin large extended Port lights out and configured to more like the front two.
owners of old boats sometimes replaced original ports with new ones that don't leak. often it is easiest to modify the whole side of the dog house area to do this repair/ upgrade. . i'd take a garden hose and spray water onto the port areas and stanchion areas to make sure this boat does not leak before you buy it. cal 29 s are solid good boats and should s erie you well --if they don't leak.
Thanks Mitch I will take that advice and put it to use. I think it's under contract with somebody else but they say it might fall through so I still got a shot at it thanks again
