Well, I don't have the CAL 22 Manual, but I can offer my experience with the older, CAL 21 (which I do have a manual for, not that it will really help) I also have a copy of the Manual for the O'DAY 222, again....not a CAL 22 Manual, but at least the same basic instructions since CAL and O'DAY were the same company when the CAL 22 and O'DAY 222 were built. The O'DAY used a different jib-furling setup and was a keel/cb instead of fixed-keel, but as I say....... similar boasts still.

I did find the following in my files:
Perhaps this CAL 22 owner could help you?? (No promises, I don't remmeber where/when I found this, might be in archives of this forum?)

"I used West Marine to replace my standing rigging. Don't remember the cost,
but I did give them the rigging and they did the rest. One stop shopping.

For the plastic that goes under the sliding hatch. I went to my local Tap
plastic sore and they new what it was and cut me two strips 8 ft. long and I
cut to fit. The type of plastic does not hold up in the sun light so I have
to replace it every few years. The cost is very low, $8.00. I would not just
remove the old plastic and let slid on the fiberglass.

Here are the specs for the rigging, form my manual.
Title Size PCL from pin of bearing to end of turnbuckle
stud

Headstay 1/8 1x19 25' 10 1/4" 25' 4"
Backstay 1/8 1x19 26' 6 3/4" 26' 0 3/4"
Tails 1/8 1x19 6' 0"
Cap Shrouds 1/8 1x19 24' 8" 24' 2"
Lower shroud 1/8 1x19 13' 2 1/4" 12' 8"

I have the manual on a CD now and if you want a copy, send me an address and
I will mail you one."
