Cabling Through Compass Housing

I am going to attempt to run a Garmin power cable and a new S1 wheelpilot clutch cable up through a Yacht specialities binnacle and compass housing tomorrow. Does one have to drill an exit hole below the compass or what is the best exit route out towards the pedestal guard. Thanks, Greg W.

Two Ways

Yes, You can go that route or up through the pedestal guard tube from below cockpit.
