Cable TV Jack 1983 H31

Has anyone ever placed a cable TV jack/junction on a 1983 H31. If so, where did you place it and where did the cable terminate inside the boat from the junction? The two obvious places appear to be either inside the anchor locker or in the cockpit near the electric junction. Thanks, Greg W.

Not in the anchor locker.

Greg: You do not want any connections that are like this in the anchor locker. When you are sailing in rough weather you anchor locker is going to take on water and the connection is going to get corroded. The cockpit area is going to be your best bet.

Steve: Thanks - I thought that about the anchor locker, but was hoping I could get a shorter run. I guess it doesn't matter much when water and electric both run aft. Greg W "SlipAway"
