Cabintop Wall Thickness

Anyone know how thick the side walls between the port lights of the cabin top of a Mk 1 30 foot Catalina is? I'm installing drapery tracks and want to use the minimum length of screw I can. Thanks

I would make my own that are spring loaded and epoxy them in place. I avoid holes at any cost.

You can gauge by looking at the openings in the ports. Don't worry about drilling holes in the boat. Make it yours.

I used #8x1/2" stainless screws on our mini blinds. No exterior penetration.

Thank you all. Wasn't sure if it was solid glass or sandwiched. 1/2" it is.
