I’m thinking about trying to add some cabinets along one side of saloon above the backrest in my O’Day 26. Had anyone done this? And if so how did you attach them? I would love to some photos for ideas as well.

We've done a few . The first thing we did was make a template from card board about the size and shape we thought would work .This allowed us to fine tune the exact dimensions . .On the small one we screwed and epoxied it to slip up and behind the overhead fiberglass that curved along the wall . If you stick your fingers up inside you can feel a lip.
