Cabin Wood Maintenance

Hi Guys,
I have a 1997 Catalina 22 MK II that has modest amounts of wood in the cabin. It looks fine presently, but question is how to maintain it. There is what I think is teak trim and in addition some thin plywood covers for the hatches beneath the cushions.

use teak oil on the teak and paint the plywood with oil based paint or varnish ....but do something and don't let it get out of hand ....good luck

Marine spar varnish or veruthane

I would use varnish. Especially on the end grain.
Our interior is almost all teak and we use Weiman Lemon Oil.
