Cabin Venting

What with all this muggy weather...what is the simplest, most effective way to vent a small boat cabin. - small meaning no room for fancy dorade boxes or cowl vents. Do solar vents work well? Would like to get some air in and keep the water out. Thanks for any advice. Drew

solar vents

I had a problem with moisture when i first bought my boat fuzz would grow below. I installed a solar vent in the head and have not had a problem since. Jim

I used two vents...

on my 240. I put a 3 inch day/night solar vent in the front hatch, and a Nicro Air Vent 500 passive vent in the lexan hatch over the rear berth. The front is set as an intake, the one in back works as exhaust. It may be overkill, but it works well. Marc_B
