I have a Hunter 23.5/1993. and it is my understanding that the cabin should be ventilated to keep mold, mildew and associated cabin odors. Any suggestions to keep rain out and ventilate? I spent a lot of time due to neglect from previous owner to rid the cabin of this problem and any help is appreciated!

I live in VA and have an Oday 25 on a trailer in Titusville. I installed the vent below in February 2016 and have had not moisture issues on the boat. The boat is checked every couple months. The boat is very dry and has no deck, port, etc leaks.
