love my vent

I have aC 30 my vent is in the vee birth so when we sleep it keeps the condensation out.I have a soler only vent in my head. works good but Ilike the day night vent better .Ive had the boat three years and it runs 24 /7 52 weeks a year. The vent even runs under the blue winter tarp. Ive seen the vents on hatch boards and on roof hatches . I think on the catalinas the best place is in the frount because the catalina has avent in the hatch boards John Olson

Installation of the vent

Did you do the install yourself? Previous owner installed on at veebeth but I'd like to put one in over the head. Wondering how badly I can screw this up or is it pretty straight forward? Bill

My vent was trashed..but

I have one above my V-berth which the previous owner installed. I have to admit the standard plastic model took a bashing and has mega cracks all over it. I have since ordered a new one but this time I've got the stainless steel model! Go ahead and trash this one! Oh, the vent is great, works great too!
