Cabin upholstery fabric in the Hunter 33

I recently received my brand new Hunter 33. I originally saw it at a boat show and from that chose the navy blue and pineapple-yellow cloth upholstery for the interior. Upon receipt of the boat the upholstery looked flawed. The navy background had a blotchiness to it. Hunter says it is supposed to look this way. The model boat at the boat show had a solid navy blue background and pineapple-yellow print which was how I thought it was supposed to look. Can anyone out there clarify? Is your upholstery fabric blotchy or solid navy with pineapple-yellow print? Thanks

Get the dealer involved

Candy,I think we got the other interior - navy blue pinstripes for the bunks and a navy blue print for the benches. The only pinapple we have are two throw pillows. Anyway, I remember sitting with my dealer and looking at fabric swatches to make the decision. Ask your dealer to let you compare the swatches with your upholstery. BTW these same fabrics are used on all Hunters - the bigger you get, the more choices you have. This early in the game you should not have to deal direct with the factory. Thanks for your response. The dealer's rep. was with us when we made the discovery. We too have the striped fabric in the births and a navy blue print in the salon but the fabric looks blotchy. I will ask to see a swatch. We submitted a piece of fabric which has gone back to Hunter. Hunter gave us a new one but according to the dealer it doesn't look much different. That is why I was wondering if that is how it is supposed to look...it looks like the navy blue colour is bleached out on some of the fabric. Anyways, thanks for your response.
