seafin on steps
Generally, Daly's SeaFin is used on interior bulkheads and companionway steps (remember, after applying it to wood it should then be 'smoothed' in with a clean rag - a nice property of Daly's is that it does not have the oily residue that a lot of teak oils have, but it does tend to darken the wood). Any good wood oil can be used. Varnish has been used on the interior wood by some owners but it can be deadly on the companionway steps. The selling dealer usually offers the buyer a choice for exterior wood - varnish or teak oil (SeaFin could be used). Yeah, you could use Semco or Cetol on the exterior wood too, especially the newer gloss versions./c, s/v Twilight H410
