Remove it
With a razor knife, cut just outside of the wood a little deeper than 1/4". Gently and slowly, pry up on the edge. Once you have a corner up, it will help if you have a long slim pry bar to contine sliding under it until the floor is released. The fiberglass below the wood floor is just a depressed area so you can enjoy sailing while you refinish the wood. There is a special cabin sole product I used to refinish mine. I'll check on the can when I get home and post it. When you go to put the floor back down, you'll mask both sides of the area you will caulk. You'll see that you will have to have a water tight seal because any water that gets under the floor will stay there.
