Hello everyone
I am looking for an idea on what to put down on my sole for comfort, my 72 Pearson 30’s sole is fibreglass with 2 wooden bilge access panels, at 53 years young, the sole has seen better days, so we are wondering what would be recommended to lay down?
I would like something clean looking and easy to maintain, we are open to suggestions

We have a small throw rug with a nonskid backing. Picked it up at Lowe's Hardware store. Canadian Tire or Rona probably has something similar.

I'd probably go to a carpet store and find a remnant of outdoor carpet - they are usually made from polypropylene - then I'd cut it to shape. If you're lucky enough to find a small outdoor throw rug made that fits your floor, even better.

EVA foam squares is another alternative. My friend used to tediously use his wash down pump. I'd imagine a pressure washer would work well

If you are going to cut it to shape, buy an inexpensive hot knife on Amazon. Very fast, but more importantly, they do a beautiful job of sealing the edges. Worth it for this one use.

I bought a Gonytia for ~ $40 a few years ago. I leave it in a holster on the tool rack and use it frequently for cutting line. Also great for bungee cord; the only good way to seal the ends, since whipping does not work. And of course cutting cloth. Cuts plastic containers ... with a lot of smoke.
