There are a couple of questions regarding our 420 I am hoping someone can help me with. 1. We have developed buldges in both the port and starboard water tanks, that when filled cause the tanks to push against the cabin sole. Have checked both vent lines and find them clear. 2. Does anyone know how Hunter installs the cabin soles? It appears that the soles were installed and than the cabinets were dropped in. I can find no way to remove the soles over the water tanks on the port and starboard side. Any comments would be greatly appreciated

Gypsy,

I have the same issue w/ my '01 420. When full, the water tanks buldge and lift up the sole (and have done so since the boat was brand new). As soon as a few gallons are removed from them, the sole goes down... so, I've just been slightly underfilling the tanks to keep from having the problem. As far as being able to get the sole up... I believe that you can unscrew each of the sole pieces from the underlying stringers... it (the sole)doesn't go under the seats or cabinets... at least on my 420.. Buck
