That IS it! thanks so much. I acquired a little renken 18 sailboat and have her stripped down to the hull. She needs a new liner. She seems like such a small thing after redoing my girl. I guess I was just bored, anyway, she should polish up well, and by dry when I put everything back on. I am not sure if I will keep her or sell her cheap to someone in the club. She is small enough to pull around easily, and I thought i could explore some areas that I wouldn't get to in my Oday.
You are right there, joe! No, this little boat was pretty much a give a way. I thought it would be a fun little boat to haul around since my girl doesn't pull so easily with my little truck. Right now I have her stripped bare. I finished sanding her yesterday and am about to go outside and buff, then wax. I have bottom paint on the way. Hard paint since she will stay on the trailer, new hatch, carpet, and nav lights. Also sent for one of those cool looking cabin lights from the south seas that was featured in the What's New section of the latest issue of good old boat. One new thing I had to learn doing this boat is how to remove graphics and vinyl cove strip. I tried the easy off oven cleaner, then hair dryer, but what worked was a heat gun and elbow grease. The big thick vinyl tape cove strip was very hard to remove.Trinkka said:
