Cabin Light Gremlins

I have some gremlins’ in my cabin light wiring. Some work only when the running lights are on. Some work normally. Anybody know where the wires run through the core, or where they might have junctions between the lights? The boat is a 1977 cat 30 #691. I am hoping to avoid running new wires to the lights.

i had the same problem; a new panel switch from seaward solved it.

Sounds the same

as my boat. I am about to embark on a total electrical refit for my '84 Catalina 25. Too many gremlins, and too many old poor (or just non-maintained) wiring jobs.
