Have problems with rain leaks on the port side toward the aft portion of the cabin. have done the window seal thing , had boat out out of water last sean for bottom barrier coats ect. This spring afetr takiong off the cover the cabin leaks are worse than ever. Water gets into floor of cabin , stove & into the bilge at the location of the keel bolts..Any body have any ideas , suggestions or what ever ?

experiment

Try experimenting with a hose. Let it run on the deck hardware, the hull-deck seam, the shrouds etc. Have someone inside the cabin looking for leaks. Good luck

Chalk

Sometimes the hose trick doesn't work cuz it's not enough steady water flow. If it doesn't work for you, next time it rains, head right on down & sit in that boat till you find the leaks. You can use light blue chalk & mark it around suspect areas (ports, thru-deck fittings, etc) & see where the chalk runs or disappears. Good luck! LaDonna

Leaks

You don't say whether or not you are in the water or on the hard. If you are on the hard the angle of the boat on the stands or in the cradel can cause water to come through places it wouldn't normally come in. In a heavy rain it can come in around the hatch boards or the sliding hatch. On a pop top it can come in under the top. One thing I've discovered is that where the water ends up isn't always where it comes from. Good luck.
