Cabin Leakage

Our '97 Hunter 410 experiences salt water accumulation in the aft quarter under the mattress, on top of the mattress floorboards. There is no signs of water staining on the adjacent bulkhead padding - the aft port window has been checked securely closed and no water has been leaking through the deck hatches. Any ideas where it might be coming from ? Another nuisance is the boat's tendency to sail at anchor - through a 160degree range - a real panoramic view of the anchorage, but not conducive to endearing oneself to ones neighbors. Any solutions?

Salt Water under mattress

I'm not quite sure of the layout of the 410 as I have a 340. I did charter a 410 this past may but it was a tri cabin layout. Could it be coming from the stuffing box? The spinning shaft could throw it against the bottom of the floorboards? Just a thought.

AC Drip pan sloshing?

We have a 410 that had spilled water on the saloon floor when sailing on port tack. The water was from the fwd AC drip pan that collected until full and then spilled over the top. Could it be your aft AC condensate water leaking from overfill when your boat is slightly pitching?
