Hello, I just recently bought a used O'Day 20 sailboat. On the owner's slip it says that it is a 74 model, however I am not sure because of the cabin design. I've seen around 3 different layouts for the O'Day 20 series, some even from the same year apparently, i'm including a photo of the cabin so hopefully someone can help me out here.

it's hard to tell from one shot, but it looks like my 74 oday 20, although my cushions are avocado green vinyl : ) i can't look at mine now as it on anchor, but i believe the serial number of the hull is on the stern and the last few numbers contain the month and year it was made. i bought mine last fall but just got it in the water and sailed it for the first time yesterday. sailed very nicely on the light winds we had.

That looks just like the inside of my 73 OD22. I can't find a pic of a 20 that has bulkheads, go figure. If you get your hull number you can "decode" it to find the model year and place that it was built. I can't remember the website, but someone else can definitely point you in the right direction. Congrats on your new boat, you found the right place on the web for O'Days!
