Cabin Accessories

I own a beautiful Beneteau First 29, named TARDIS. I have three questions pertaining to cabin accessories.My mate would like for me to find what type of products are out there to change our alcohol two burner stove to a propane stove? Is this a good move or a bad one? Then, I need to find a nice compact 12v hair dryer. What products are out there? Lastly, considering propane source, is there a tiny propane cabin heater?My email address is twarsaw1@aol.com

Tom; IMHO, the switch to propane may have some benefits for you but would it be worth the trouble and expense? Also, I'm not sure a 12V dryer even exists, but I can tell you this; it'll suck current from your batteries like a teenager chugging milk from the carton. As for propane heaters, you can get small canister types at camping supply stores, but on our boat we use an inverted clay pot on the stove over a low flame. Can't be kicked over, uses the same fuel as the stove and there's no small bottles to deal with. Good luck, tho.
