Had a couple of beers at the Great Kills YC and the bartender gave me the wifi password. So I have decent internet at the moment.
We are hunkered in at a Marina watching the weather like everyone else. Had a pit of panic at 04:00 when I checked the weather and we were predicted to get 120 kts of wind. But thankfully the models have continued to **** east. Here is hoping that keeps going that way.
The whole system is complicated by a front coming through starting tonight. We are supposed to have winds into the 40-50 kts and that is why we originally pulled in here. Now we are waiting for this storm to turn north and hoping the EURO model is right.
