C27 wheel autopilot- what do you suggest?

I'm looking to add an autopilot for wheel steering and wanted something that I could possibly install myself. I'm also curious what other C27 owners are using. I was thinking a raymarine or simrad.

everytime someone asks this question i say try calling raymarine with a problem like you had already spent your money,

Ease of install

The Simrad unit is easier to install, as the compass is integrated into the unit itself. The Raymarine has a seperate compass that you have to route the wiring & mount seperate. I suppose the compass could work better if you are careful about positioning it (Raymarine), but I've had no problems with my integrated Simrad unit. I'd suggest Simrad based on that, but otherwise they are comparable.
