Sink
On the Cat 27 the plumbing for the sink DRAIN is joined to the icebox DRAIN and they go to a common valve and thruhull under the galley. The thru hull and valve are behind the electrical panel and can be reached by removing the cushion from the port settee/bunk, opening the aft hatch and crawling into the foot of the bunk. To get water to the sink you need a tank and a pump. On TASHTEGO there is a small, foot-operated, diaphragm pump mounted near the cabin sole under the sink and the tank is under the aft part of the starboard settee/bunk. A hose runs through the engine compartment to the pump on the other side. Have a look under the starboard settee/bunk for a water tank and search around near the cabin sole for the foot pump. The foot pump is very, VERY difficult to work on. I had a ruptured diaphragm (in the pump and nearly in me) that I replaced after figuring out how to reach, much less work on, the pump. Good luck.
