Does anyone have any suggestions on where to place a compass on a C27 (mine is an '86 with a tiller)? I was thinking the next to my depth sounder and knot meter on my exterior. The problem I have is most bulkhead mount compasses seem to require having the bulkhead be 90 degrees, and the C27 is tilted. My second choice is right under the companionway. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks.

I mounted my compass on the bulkhead on the prt side. I added a wood mount against the bulkhead so that the compass was vertical. Neil

I mounted mine on the port bulkhead with a wood wedge to get it vertical. BUT I am seriously thinking of moving it (somhow) on the hatch. The compass gets covered when the "crew" is lounging in the cockpit on a trip. Dan Hogan
