Don, we have CNG on our boat and I really ...
like it compared to propane. I carry two tanks, one as a spare. I do a tank exchange with our local marine chandlery for about $28. A tank lasts me a season. Our propane BBQ on deck comes in handy for other cooking needs. It is my understanding that you have to change the jets on your existing stove. As far as locker storage, it needs to be sealed and vented properly, and some way to secure the tank. Propane also produces a considerable amount of moisture as it burns, unlike CNG.Hunter Marine Customer Service can advise you where they put the tanks on your boat model and also safety issues to consider in doing so.
