C&C 34ft Swing Keel 1980

I'm trying to find out where this boat was made; in Canada or the US (C&C opened a site in Rhode Island in 1976).
Does anyone know how to find out this information?

I found this reference on another forum…

I assume that this letter combo is part of the HIN….but I don’t know for sure…
