c 27 traveller

I have a 1982 C-27 with a mid-boom arched traveller. The boat was originally set up for cruising and as such, the traveller car is set between two adjustable stops. There are no controls for the traveler car,nor is does the car have bearings. My owners manual depicts an adjustable car and controls for the main sheet. Catalina direct sells the control cars but states that the traveller car is no longer available. (Nicro X).Does someone know where or if I can get these parts used? I would take damaged parts that I could recondition as opposed of changing the entire assembly.Is there a site where used sailboat equipment is offered for sale or swap?Thanks for any help.

The are several companies that offer used equipment that I found on the internet. I printed a list for myself and now I can't find it right at hand. ( Like my concern about the hereafter, I go down the basement, stop and say "what am here after?????") Seriously, you can try the Boaters exchange in B.C. @ www.boatersexchange.com (I know it looks like boater sex change) but they have a good inventory and you shop in Canadian dollars. Also there is www.poyeyesailorsexchange.com and they list 9 locations. For example-www.gallery@pacificmarine.com, www.admiraltymarine.com, or www.salty@island.net and several more with telephone numbers and/or fax numbers. Good hunting, hope this helps---B.

Thanks Brian, I will add these sites to my shopping list. In the meantime I found a site to pass on to you (et.al) It is WWW.rigrite.com. They have sailboat hardware that seems to be new and hard to find. They have the traveller car and control ends for the C27 BUT, it is expensive. Thanks again for taking the time to help me.
