C-22 table

I bought my 1984 C-22 with no table. It has the brackets for the table. I want to know if any one out there would give me the dimensions for the table? Also if any one out there has built one, if there are any tricks?  I know that I could make it out of plywood or MDF and put some laminate on it. But I was thinking about putting fiddles on it and if the spec. size was good or would a little bigger or smaller be better? Let me knowArt <)))><

It should fit exactly between the two seats to make a bed. It has a leg on the end to hold it up which fold up when in the down position. So just measure the width between the two seats and the length of the seats and build one. Should be easy.

Add a Drawer

Hi Art like Shane indicated the size is what fits between the seats if you plan on converting it to a berth. I built one last year and should have shrunk it about 3 inches on the sides for extra room as I will not be using it as a berth. One addition that I made was a drawer under the end of the table to hold the log book cards etc. The drawer is justa 3 wall box that is attached to the bottom with the actual drawer sliding into it. I took 3/4 inch oak faced plywood for the top and then put an oak edge piece on the three sides that are exposed. I Made sure that the trim created about a 1/4 inch lip around the top to help keep the cards on the table and then it also adds a nice finished edge. I then finished it with 6 coats of cetol. It blends in well with the teak is cheap to build and adds a nice touch. I hate the look of a laminate top. Have fun and actually build what you want and what works for you. HerbS/V DayDream

i have an older cat....

and like the other two posts, my table fits between the seats. i don't know if your seats are like mine, but on the end of the table, one side is a tad longer than the other to match the seats. the aft one being the longer side

Try this idea... see the link. This guy really did a good job. I'm working on mine. Make sure that you measure the distance between the two seats at the indentation in both seats. This is where the table rests when you make the bunk up.
