Buying help

Hi I am on the verge of buying a 1981 Hunter 22.

I would like to have an idea of what to look out for in this boat or in general for any boat as I am new to this.

It seems like a good deal and for the price I am not even sure it would be worth paying a survey as its real cheap.

How much are you willing to loose? How much are you prepared to pay for repairs you're not aware of? Is it wise NOT to pay a surveyor?

Hi Alan, from a financial point it may not be worth a survey, but from a safety point it would. If you do not get a survey, I think that you should have someone that knows about boats look it over. Have fun! ds
