I have friends who live in Colorado. Over the past 5 or 6 years or so my wife and I have introduced them to sailing. They have been going with us bare boating and now have completely become addicted to sailing. They sold their beautiful house overlooking Pikes Peak and have moved to Punta Gorda, Florida. We have taken them to boat shows and now they want to buy their first boat. Since I got them into this they want me to advise them on boats that they are looking at. They have fallen in love with the Hunter 420 passage. I am fairly familiar with the boat, but would like some advice perhaps from people who own them as to what if any problems exist with the boat, things we should look for or questions to ask or any particular nuance on these boats. Thanks---Clint

Go To "Boat Info"

...at the top of the page, select the 420 and read the Owner Reviews. There is a ton of good information there. Also, look in the archives for prior discussions. There is a lot of information there as well. (PS: there are no less than three on my dock. One is in charter and another is a blue-water vet. I am not aware of any material problem with them. We also have friends who live aboard theirs and think it's about the best live-aboard there is.)
