Buying a new main for my H31

There's probably a thread here for this but I didn't find it in my cursory search. I'm buying a main. This boat is a family cruiser. I'm totally out of my depth. Has anyone bought one of these sails from this site? If I remember correctly the boat has two reefing points. Are full battens worth the money? How many should I have?

Full battens. Loose foot. That's what I have on my H-34. Two reef points. I bought my sails at Shurr Sails in Florida. Very happy.

I might suggest buying your sails on a web site called, " far East Sails" Lots of recommendations.... and depending on your sail quote you get upto a 50% reduction... Check it out, you could save yourself thousands

When I needed a new sail for our Free H31 project, I searched around for good used sails, and got this one for a couple of hundred dollars.

It is probable 6"-8" shorter than a custom new sail would have been, but like you we plan to cruise mostly.

Used main, along with a used jib, I think she turned out well. Sails nice.
