I was still on a mooring during Hurricane Sandy, pretty well protected on the Lloyd Harbor side of Huntington Harbor NY, Eaton Neck Coast Guard light house reported 95 mile/hr gusts, only damage was to 2 port side mid-boat stanchions bent inwards. Rebending seems to be a bad idea, I would like to buy new ones, cant find web site, does anyone have any ideas?

We also got damaged in Sandy and had all portside stanchions badly bent on our Catalina 380. They don't show our type on the Garhauer or CatalinaDirect sites. Ours have 2 support legs that get screwed down seperately. I'm still looking, but maybe we can get them from Catalina themselves (??)
The factory should be able to supply, your description makes me think of a gate stanchion, are they different then these ?
We also have a Catalina 380 (#120) and had 6 stanchions damaged. Catalina don't have the style anymore and they are not carried by catalinadirect. Did you find them anywhere else? Garhauer don't make them.
Straightening them may be an option if they are not creased. I had several bent inwards slightly, the repair yard was able to straighten them.
