Buy a 34, 35

I recently sold a Catalina 30 and am in the market for a larger boat. I'm considering an Oday 34 or 35. How do they sail? Fast? Slow? How's the quality? Any inherent problems?Thanks,--Mark

I've been sailing a 35 for 6 years. yes they are fast (one won the marion to bermuda race , all classes about 10 years ago, yukon jack I believe...check the marion bermuda web site for more info). I have hit over 9 knots on a reach in 22 knot breeze with fairly old sails. the boat is also very comfortable. as for quality I am very pleased with the value. these are reasonably priced boats with all around good equipment. go for it!!good luckdave
