My rooftop AC unit finally committed suicide. I will be installing a new central heat and air unit next week. We couldn't wait to rip off the old beast from the coach roof so we can have a little more ventilation. The PO could not find the hatch lid for that hole so I made a temp. cover that could be secured from the inside. Before I order a new hatch, i will be thinking about making a butterfly hatch. I think they are so cool looking and actually cool when opened at anchor. Has anyone here ever built one or have one on their boat? I would like to see some of the details for weather proofing and securing the wings down tight. Thanks in advance Tony B
