Butane stove replacement

I have a 260 with a single burner butane stove. Is there any way to convert it to propane? Does anyone have a decent source for the cartriges? Or should I just replace it? At 5.99 for an 8 oz cylinder, that figures to about 45.00 a gallon. I feel like I'm getting hosed.

Butane canisters to fit my stove at ACE Hardware, less than $ 2.00 each. They arive Tuesday, will report the cost to the list here.

I picked up

my order from ACE today, $ 4.10 including sales tax for 3 canisters of fuel.The canisters fit the ACE brand portable stove and most others, check them out.
