And I thought I worked obsessively. I couldn't get that much done in a month.

Nice work!

thanks guys,it helps I am a carpenter, and I enjoy working on the boat. This is the fun stuff, hard part is up and down the ladder and walking to saws, plus the 1 hour drive each way.I have to get the tarp off its becoming a sweatbox inside.... Red

Dave, I cut back the walls about 10 " on nav station side and 2-3" on galley side, I had SS skinny poles there, wainscott on both sides of each wall section, then 1x3' on each side, and a 1x3" on the ends, I cutout and created the small pedastals and trimmed them the same, columns are screwed into the bottom, pedastal, and lower side into wall, at the top, 1/2" ply glassed will be under the FLP panels, they are very solid. I may install oak trim around the tops, not sure yet....Red

Dave, The plywood is glued to the existing deck, that already had some 1/4" ply glued to hold up the FLP,I used what are called squarehead SS trim screws on an angle on all 4 sides. The column is oal, so I am hoping there will be a minimal espansion/ contract going on. Same screws on bottom of columns into the pedestal and the small 8" wall side. Red
