I changed my coolant today. Drained out as much of the old Dex Cool and flushed the system. I refilled it slowly but think I have an air lock in my hot water heater. When the engine comes up to temp, the top of the coolant line below the thermostat gets hot but up aft by the water heater, neither of the lines get hot or even warm. How do I clear the air lock if this is indeed the problem?

Thanks.

Re: Burbing Coolant System

Thanks Stu. I "Selected it", copied it, opened Word and pasted it into a new blank document which I then both printed out and did a "save as". I will refer to this when I do this winter/spring project before launch. Thanks again.

Re: Burbing Coolant System

You're very welcome. Just for future searching, it's actually called "Burping" your freshwater system. NPI. :)
