Was wondering if anyone has used these on their bunkers, and what your thoughts are? They can be mounted on top of carpet to help boat slide on and off the trailer easier. Sincerely, Brian
I recall some conversation on this subject. The concensus was that they work, but be careful with the number used as the boat will tend to shift when tralering.I use Dawn instead.
You guys shouldn't be using anything like that. You're bunks should be submerged for loading, when wet the boat will slide. As George said, you do not want the boat moving on the trailer. If you can not get the bunks submerged, better get a tongue extension made.
Thanks for the feed back! I did put them on mine and they don't allow the boat to slide as they claim. I need to float the boat off, but can retrive in alittle shallow water as the boat winches up easier. My thoughts are if you don't have them don't waste the money. Brian
