bulkhead behind engine

I have a H 27 1982 boat new to me. The bulkhead seperating the engine from the fuel tank is made of plywood is this normal or has it been replaced po replaced fuel tank.

The bulkhead behind the engine on my 82 H27 is also made of plywood. I always assumed that it'sthe original bulkhead.

Went by the marina today to do an oil change so I took a look: (1) bulkhead between engine and fuel tank as well as bulkhead behind engine is wood, and (2) they look original.Chris, 82 H27
