Bukh Diesels in Bristol Yachts

My son has a Bristol 32 Yawl with a Bukh 2 cylinder 18hp diesel in it. I believe it was manufactured in Denmark. I think this engine was a main power plant for Bristol 25 yrs ago. My question is, do you know of any dealers or service companies that work on these engines? I know the company is still in business, but does not make the Pilot 20 anymore. They now have a Pilot 24 which is a direct replacement. Also, is there a Yanmar engine that would work as a replacement for the Pilot 20 Bukh? If there is, what is the going rate for a Yanmar replacement includeing a tranny. I know I'm asking for a lot of info, so thanks in advance. ken osborne

Ken,You will probably want to consider either the 1GM10 or 2GM20F depending on space considerations.In addition to being able to tackle the repair near your area, they would also be the best source for the cost of a Yanmar repower in your area.
