I have a 1983 Hunter 34 and the Gel Coat on deck is chalky and wearing thin in some areas. I was wondering if anyone could suggest a type of paint to use to paint the deck. I plan on using a roller or brush (not a sprayer) or whatever works best. Thanks, any information will be very helpful

I used Interlux Perfection Two part Polyurethane with wonderful results. Expensive but it will last and last.

Deck Paint

Second John for Interlux Perfection. For the non skid, Interlux Interdeck, and the balance of the topsides, Interlux Prefection. Both are great products that are rolled on and give professional results. Wa also nhave a 34 ft sailboat and are applying a primer coat and two coats of InterDeck, should take about a gallon, 3 qts white and 1 qt grey. Check out the Intelux website an request their technical CD. The CD and their technical staff are very informative.
