Has anyone tried to fit a Bruce anchor into their H28 anchor locker? It is obvious the locker was designed for a Dansforth, but I would like to use a Bruce as my primary. Alternatively, I would consider adding an anchor roller if it was easy to install and allowed me to store a Bruce when not in use. Any ideas from the collective wisdom of my fellow sailors would be appreciated.

Anchor roller.
Install an anchor riller. We did it on our H27 Cherubini and it is one of the most rewarding improvements we did for the old boat. It has made anchoring much easier making it no bother to drop it for a short lunch. Get creative about your deck sapce. we had to relocate cleats and add a chain stopper but it works like a charme. We added a 22 pound claw (bruce type) and it holds like nothing we had before.
