bronze piston hanks

I am looking for some piston hanks. I want to use them to make a jib downhaul. Does anyone know where I can purchase these. I have been looking, but no luck. ThanksDale

I once saw a small barrel full of piston jib

hanks in a sailmakers loft. So if I were looking for such I would go to the sailmakers and have a chat with them.

are a pretty common item at just about any boat store or chandelry that sell sailing hardware. West Marine lists them in their online catalog, as does Bacons.

BTW there are two typs

Be sure to get the right type. There is a crimp on (faster to install but more chafe) and a sew on (you know!). The sew on has a ring and the crimp on has an open slot. I'd go with whatever is on the sail now for maintenance sake.
