The shaft connecting the throttle lever-handle with the linkage inside the starboard compartment snapped due to a misplaced footstep.Has anyone any knowledge of how this shaft can be replaced/repaired ? I presently operate by manipulating the linkage inside the compartment.

Those are pretty "standard" controls....
Not certain, however, if only the shaft is available as a replacement part, and new units are not exactly cheap! Perhaps a local machine shop could help with a jury-rigged replacement shaft instead of buying a new unit?
