Hi everyone!

While getting prepared to winterize my boat,i found that a piece at the tip of the boom was broken.I don`t know the name of this piece, but it's skrewed in(i mean with skrews...) and i would like to know the name and direction where i could find it.

Here's the pictures...

Thanks

That's the goose neck slide attachment for the mast track (hadn't seen a cast one before) give Rudy a call at D&R marine - if he doesn't have one he might have some sources

Broken Part

I may be a little late here, but I think that is one side of the attachment for the tack of the mainsail thats broken. The mast slide is still attached in the picture.

Re: Broken Part

I agree with Paul, it does look like the fitting for the mainsail tack with one ear broken off. If you can't find a replacement, you can make a short sling from 3/16 inch 1x19 stainless steel rigging wire with an eye and thimble swaged on each end for about $10. Keep it on board so if the other ear ever breaks, loop the sling under the gooseneck, shackle the tack of the mainsail through the two eyes and you're back under way in a few minutes. A piece of old halyard will do the same thing in a pinch. Good luck.
