The attachment for the vang block ataches to the mast by means of a rounded metal piece afixed to an elongated metal plate screwed into the mast track. The rounded metal piece broke. I have removed the plate with the rounded metal pieces and can repair it with a minor weld. However I am looking for an alternative better arrangement to attache the vang and main blocks to the mast. Does anyone have a suggestion for me.
