We have a 94 Vision 36. My main sheet and one of my reef lines is jammed. The axle that holds the sheaves at the top of the boom at the goose neck is broken free, its at an angle and one or more sheaves is broken and or missing. I've been finding suspicious bits of plastic on deck and in the cockpit. Is this a DIY fix, or should I hire a rigger? Any feedback?

Something like that I would try to fix myself and if it turned out to be more than I could handle (like needing special tools or equipment) I would hire a rigger. Just my .02c
I'm a DIY guy, but the boat is 150 miles away and I can't see it from here to compare the rigging to the schematics I pull up on line.
I have a rigger visiting the boat to give me a WAG on the cost for him to redo. If it is in the reasonable price range, I'd be money ahead to have him do it.
If he is stupid expensive, then I have a 300 mile round trip just to make a parts list.
