Broken Leech Line

Hi, I'm starting my second year sailing, so I'm still pretty green. I have an O'day 240 that has Neil Pryde Sails. When I inspected the mainsail I noticed the leech line was broken. Is this something I can fix (any specific recommended knot)? or Can I order a new leech line and install it myself? or Should I take it to a loft(probably expensive)? Thank-you very much for your suggestions, Chris

Sailcare - a possibility

Not knowing the condition of your sail, Sailcare is a possibility. You could have your sail cleaned and refinished, and have the leech line repaired at the same time. A call to them would give you an estimate of cost. My 1983 sails, that I was ready to throw away, came back looking new. CVP
